I started Abide With Us because I wanted a journal that didn't exist.

I started reading the Bible with some ladies from my church a few years ago. We would get together once a week and share what had stood out to us from our Bible reading. One of the ladies asked for some worksheets or something to help guide her through her reading.

It seemed like no matter how hard I looked I couldn't find a Bible Study where you actually just read the Bible and studied it with your friends. They were all full of lots of reading and most of them skip from book to book. Which is wonderful when that is what you are looking for!

But in my case, I just wanted to study the Bible with my friends.

As I sat frustrated that I couldn't find what I wanted I felt the Lord challenge me, "why don't you make it?" And after a whole lot of wresting and giving it to Him, Abide With Us is finally born!
